It is important that you understand your self worth. If you have already established yourself as a freelance writer online, then you can increase your per project or an hourly rate. This method of raising your rate will work if you are working with private clients. Ask for a higher rate politely to your existing clients and raise your rate for new clients.

Avoid Working for Low Paying and Stressful Writing Jobs

If you are spending too much time doing stressful writing jobs, and working on low-paying writing jobs, you should avoid these writing jobs altogether.  I am not advocating that you should not take up low paying writing jobs as eventually others will take up those jobs but if you want to be more productive by working less and earning more then you have to look for high paying writing jobs and writing jobs that do not require you to spend a lot of your time on.
